Book reviews

There are as many ways as there are reasons to read a book.

  • Some of us read quickly and selectively, looking for answers to specific questions.
  • Some of us read slowly and thoughtfully, to get an indepth view of a complex subject.
  • Some of us read and take detailed notes, as part of an ongoing self-education commitment.
  • Some of us read casually, simply out of curiosity.

Whatever the reason, it is often observed that people who read not only generally know more - because they benefit from exposure to the experience and thought of others - they are more interesting to spend time with.

The reviews below are of books we think will have enduring value.
